Our 457,000 square foot aseptic “fill and finish” manufacturing facility in Clayton, NC, currently employs more than 850 people. The facility is part of a global network of manufacturing sites responsible for several key steps in the diabetes treatment manufacturing process, including sterile formulation, filling, inspection, device assembly and packaging.

Position Purpose:
To support the North American Operations mobility function & all aspects of relocation, including international assignments. Acts as a tactical partner in all matters related to mobility & to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ensure all mobility programs are compliant & deliver high level customer support. Responsible for cross functional collaboration with stakeholders from all departments & Novo Nordisk affiliates. Position interacts with all levels of employees up to the senior leadership team & external relocation, tax & immigration vendors.

  • Support the mobility team to ensure timely & accurate delivery of mobility related services, including relocation, tax & immigration services, to all customers.
  • Supports the design & implementation of mobility strategy & programs that support overall business goals & strategy in a manner that balances cost, compliance, & employee impact & market competitiveness.
  • Provides guidance & support to counterparts at other NN affiliates in the planning, design & implementation of mobility programs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Mobility to all stakeholders.
  • Develops & administers delivery of educational programs & materials to keep all stakeholders informed of NNI’s mobility programs & strategy.
  • Ensure that mobility program is compliant with all current tax & immigration regulations.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on changes to tax & immigration regulation changes both domestically & internationally & update mobility program to maintain compliance with all regulations.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of internal business operations & applies the knowledge to processes.
  • Monitor & review all mobility invoices for relocation, tax & immigration services.
  • Ensure compliance with proper tax procedures relevant for Mobility
  • Process improvement initiatives.
  • Other accountabilities, as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in Global Mobility.
  • A general understanding of Global Mobility, Immigration & Tax Compliance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, & Outlook.
  • Proven expertise in organizing information & resources for successful reporting & communications to support core processes.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or directly relevant experience in a Global Mobility role may be substituted for degree when appropriate.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills are required.
  • Experience building & maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Demonstrated performance as a business partner.

Physical and other requirements:
  • Occasionally moves equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions.
  • Constantly operates a computer & other office equipment using hands.
  • Able to travel domestically & internationally, up to 10% of the time.
  • Able to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction.
  • Able to work with a high level of confidentiality. (Mandatory)
  • Able to work the hours necessary to support a 24/7 continuous manufacturing operation.
  • Able to adjust schedule to work with colleagues in other international time zones.
