Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary: Supports the department by accurately preparing medications for patient dispensing, maintaining appropriate records to assure adherence to regulations, and to provide accurate financial accountability. Provides excellent customer service by helping to maintain an organized and efficient workflow in the pharmacy and consistently demonstrating MERIT standards of performance.

Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education: None

Required License: Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire

Preferred License: None

Required Experience: None

Preferred Experience: At least 6 months of pharmacy technician experience
