We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support education, research, information dissemination, and scientific intelligence activities. The MSL/Sr. MSL Respiratory provides medical and scientific support for Liquidia's marketed products and compounds in development. In this role you will be responsible for providing fair balanced, objective, scientific information, and education to health care professionals (HCPs) and to internal partners as required by scientific and business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Identify, establish, and manage collaborative professional relationships with national, regional and clinical practice scientific leaders (SLs) and investigators to identify and address scientific needs and to ensure access to medical and scientific information on areas of therapeutic interest and our Company's data or products in the geographic region
* Engage in proactive non-product discussions regarding scientific issues (e.g., disease states, diagnosis, epidemiology, unmet medical need, and population health, etc.) that are intended to enhance scientific discussions or inform/guide Liquidia's medical affairs and R&D activities
* Communicate external stakeholder opinions, insights and feedback on new data, clinical trends and the evolving medical landscape to Liquidia's medical affairs team to enhance scientific understanding and inform internal strategies
* Represent our R&D activities at scientific meetings and congresses and contribute to scientific meeting debriefs, insight discussions and post congress reports
* Support clinical trial activities by acting as the primary liaison to investigators interested in developing and completing investigative oriented research and work to identify potential investigators for participation in phase II-IV clinical development programs
* Provide in-depth scientific support to our reimbursement team to ensure payor access for our products
* Provide relevant medical and scientific support for healthcare providers, third-party payers, and other managed care audiences.
* Provide medical and scientific support for medical education initiatives (e.g., speaker training)

REQUIREMENTS:

* NP/R.N., PA, PhD, PharmD or M.D.
* 0-3 years of MSL experience (MSL) and 4-6 years' experience for Sr MSL
* up to 75% travel
* Established relationships with cardiologists and/or pulmonologists at medical institutions within territory
* Experience working compliantly and effectively with R&D and clinical trial sites
* Experience working compliantly and effectively with managed care audiences
* Experience with project management (Sr. MSL)
* Experience mobilizing networks and leveraging resources to support Medical Affairs initiatives
* Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information
* Strong business insight and proven performance in team environment
* Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills, as well as outstanding organization skills
