Job Description Novo Nordisk in West Lebanon, NH continues to grow! We have an exciting, new, opportunity for a detail oriented, motivated, Materials & Logistics Associate to join our team! The Materials & Logistics Associate will provide multi-faceted support to Materials, Warehouse and Logistics functions. Daily routines will consist of providing direct support to materials and warehouse operations and internal business partners.

Main job tasks:
* Developing and reporting of Materials KPIs
* Manage stock count program:
* Produce counts, reconcile differences, and investigate differences

* Provide scrap analysis to Finance:
* Work with Manufacturing groups to determine scrap reasons and document
* Periodic review of scrap reason codes and usage

* Master maintenance of materials – New item setup, revisions to existing, maintain INR
* Spare part champion - Set up new parts, coordinate with stakeholders, maintain tracking
* Assist in processing of issues an changes within the quality system
* Materials obsolescence review and disposition
* Perform audits of Materials areas for compliance:
* Audit, document, follow-up on required actions

* Develop system for providing full kits to Manufacturing for system turnarounds
* Analyze and assess physical material flows
* Review and optimize freight routing
* Provide backup for shipping and receiving team
* Back up Supervisor for customs release processing – Provide information to customs, FDA, and other regulatory agencies for release of imported materials.

* Perform all other duties or tasks as required.
* Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes.
* Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others.

Knowledge, skills & abilities and experience:
* High School diploma; Associates Degree or some college-level courses preferred.

* Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with a High School diploma; Five (5) years of experience with Associates degree or higher in warehouse or materials functions, preferably in a Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry setting.

Skills & abilities:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; good presentation skills a plus.
* Excellent analytical and computer skills including Excel and material management systems.
* Three to five (3-5) years of experience in a warehouse ERP system; SAP preferred.
* Knowledge of Biotech/Pharmaceutical production supply chain principles and cGMPs preferred.
* Proven process improvement and problem solving skills.
* Able to develop and manage action plans to achieve targets.

Physical requirements and working environment:
* The ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and walk.
* The ability to push, pull, lift, finger, and grasp.
* The ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal and written communication.
* Repetition including substantial movement of wrists, hands, and or fingers.
* Lifting up to 33 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
* Visual acuity to perform close activities such as: reading, writing, and analyzing; operating a motor vehicle or heavy equipment, and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations.
* The working environment includes a variety of physical conditions, working in narrow aisles, and temperature changes.
