Manages all clinical operations and human, fiscal, and capital resources within the center. Facilitates and manages day-to-day operations and overall direction, including cardiac arrhythmia services, pre- and post-catheterization admission and recovery, and cardiac catheterization lab. Proactively ensures delivery of safe patient care and services by promoting a safe environment. Works in partnership with Medical Directors of the catheterization lab and electrophysiology to develop and maintain a strategically focused center which supports the cardiac service line and the system's mission and values in an organized, innovative, and cost-effective manner.


  • Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) is required.


  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment


  • No minimum experience required


  • Advanced education in business, management, or related field
  • Professional nurse certification
  • Master's degree and/or 5 years of experience in management/administration in a cardiology healthcare setting

  1. Develops and implements clinical programs, including programs that promote technological advancement of cardiac outpatient services, in partnership with Medical Directors and other leaders.
  2. Manages overall financial performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  3. Prepares annual operating and capital budget and collaborates with administration to ensure billing and performance reporting systems are accurate and effective.
  4. Promotes accountability by fostering an environment for staff and physicians to collaborate in effective problem-solving manner.
  5. Oversees scheduling/registration process to ensure efficient utilization of the center.
  6. Keeps abreast of relevant technology and practice advances and communicates with physicians to develop and implement strategies to better utilize resources and/or improve patient care.
  7. Develops and maintains relationships with leadership in other departments and outside cardiology practices.
  8. Collaborates with medical and hospital leaders to ensure high-quality patient care.
  9. Responsible for all aspects of managing and leading a team including: interviewing, hiring, training, developing, directing work and processes, managing performance, recognizing, and rewarding employees.
  10. Mentor team members to encourage personal and professional growth.
  11. Encourage ongoing skill development by providing opportunities for continued education.


Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.


Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
