To provide leadership to Advocate Occupational Health at a system-wide level for each facility. Plans, coordinates and manages the operational activity and personnel resources in order to provide the highest quality care in the most cost-effective manner. Oversees the operational activities to assure adherence to budgetary guidelines, standardization of protocols and policies and ensure compliance with quality management and regulatory guidelines. Collaborates with providers, corporate clients and system support leaders. To oversee Occupational Health activities to assure adherence to budgetary guidelines. To project the Advocate Values of compassion, equality, excellence, partnership and stewardship.

  • Responsible for the management and ongoing program development and management of Advocate Occupational Health.
  • Ensures the patient experience exceeds expectations and provides continuous service excellence
  • Contributes to the financial success of the center appropriate business practice, budget planning and the management of all resources
  • Management and Oversight of Occupational Health Services to Advocate internal and external customers at the Occupational Health facilities.
  • Associate Engagement/Human Resources: ensures the site supervisors uphold continued quality, development and retention reflecting the Advocate Experience of creating the best place for associates to work.
  • Provides leadership to create an environment where the associates are motivated to do their best, are routinely recognized for good work and achieves goals for associate satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the review and implementation of policies and procedures, as required.



Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare.  (Equivalent experience may be substituted .)
6 - 8 years’ experience in Occupational /Employee Health Management
Ability to work with data and think strategically and tactically for job results Knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, ADA Standards, DOT, Accrediting Organization Regulations, CDC Guidelines, and Worker's Compensation Laws
Experience with and strong demonstrated knowledge of healthcare finance and administration.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Strong organization, time management and presentation skills
Good communication and relationship management skills
Well-developed collaboration skills
Ability to work under stressful conditions and through difficult situations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with established time constraints
Ability to work autonomously and achieve desired outcomes within specific deadlines
Ability to travel within the Advocate System. Significant local travel with early morning, evening and weekend hours.
Several years’ experience in an unsupervised capacity demonstrated track record of independence and self-motivation.
