JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:#Assists in coordinating, implementing and monitoring activities within assigned pharmacy for preparing and dispensing medications, drugs and other pharmaceuticals as prescribed.# Assigns duties/activities and the effective utilization of pharmacy staff and other resources.## Performs duties of Pharmacist as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION:#Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy, M.S., and/or Pharm D program.# Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the neonate, infant, adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates. # EXPERIENCE:#One (1) year experience as a Pharmacist.# # LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION:#Current Tennessee licensure as a Pharmacist.# Additional certification may be required based on assignment. # KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS # ABILITIES: Demonstrated knowledge of current pharmacy practices to develop, present, implement and maintain activities in department. Ability to effectively communicate to implement daily activities and to coordinate with medical staff, nursing, IT and other support personnel/departments.# Ability to react and perform under stress in emergency situations and manage a sometimes chaotic work environment related to changing patient needs, including work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes.# Demonstrated ability to plan and organize work for self and others and to exercise analytical judgment on work to be done in order to meet priorities and needs.# Computer proficiency to enter and retrieve information. # PHYSICAL DEMANDS:# Subject to standing, walking, sitting, lifting, pulling, reaching and bending to access supplies and fill orders; wrist and digital dexterity. #

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
