Description Summary

Commercial Group is excited to welcome our intern to our team.  The role focuses on four important areas:

Technology Enhancement:

Large Group uses a project management tool called SmartSheet to enhance the project administration process.  SmartSheet allows team members to easily replicate the Blue Cross Value Story to clients including the: 1) Group Employee Engagement strategy; 2) Access to all the business-to-business marketing material to help upsell opportunities; 3) Deep dive presentations on the member and employer portals; and 4) Renewal related discussions (renewal packet, reporting, alternates, etc.).  The goal is to have the intern help the Client Executives that are using SmartSheet create and manage group employee engagement campaigns.  Additionally, provide subject matter expertise to the team on an ongoing basis.

Reporting:

A critical component of the ongoing administration of clients is the pulling and posting of medeanalytics reports.  The goal is to have the intern pull reports from Blue Cross Health Analytics and upload them to SmartSheet (or email them to Client Executives not on SmartSheet).

Event Administration:

Another major component of client administration is the planning and execution of events.  The goal is to have the intern help administer the events.  The key responsibility is to manage the SmartSheet event and promo intake process, which includes helping team members perfect the process, reviewing/editing submissions, and providing ongoing oversight to ensure smooth delivery of event and promo items.  Other responsibilities include bringing the smoothie bike cooler and helping with event set up and tear down, as well as managing the smoothie bike area during the events.
