Lab Manager, Molecular Biology Cambridge, MA Full-time / on-site Our client is transforming the way we track, trace, monitor and report disease spread. We are seeking a Manager to join their team and be responsible for troubleshooting their lab production processes, validating instruments, mentoring junior team members, and developing plans for bringing new assays into production. You will oversee a group of 5-7 Research Associates. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage daily activities in the lab Staff training & development Handle shift work and optimize workflows Support implementation of lab automation to increase testing capacity Support development of new assays LIMS development, QC, planning & purchasing Support EH&S standards/procedures Draft, review & approve SOPs, protocols, and reports related to lab processes and equipment Troubleshooting, process development and improvement activities Qualified candidates will have: Undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology or related field 3+ years of people management experience in a lab setting Experience with lab automation and liquid handling Experienced with LIMS Proficient in LC-MS, qPCR, NGS is preferred Contact to apply and interview soon.
