Adheres to Plant Maintenance (PM) guideline documents. Provides technical expertise to customers. Processes special project requests. Assists customers with PM data issues. Troubleshoots PM issues. Assignments require significant interface with customers and requires the ability to balance customer / site PM needs. Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to work with a wide range of people at all levels of management.

 

  • Interprets drawings, equipment manuals and other technical documents to develop PM guideline documents that comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Processes requests for creating, updating and deactivating PM Data.
  • Keeps technical skills current through continuing education.
  • Provides technical expertise to engineering services, utilities, maintenance, equipment owners and partners.
  • Interacts with outside contractors, vendors and suppliers.
  • Provides technical support for the entire Site.
  • Uses management and technical skills to provide PM services in an ethical and professional manner in support of organizational goals.
  • Fosters working productively through team and/or individual effort.
  • Completes assigned projects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicates unique and unusual issues to the Site.
  • Applies in-depth knowledge of the PM Process, from inception through record archival.
  • Supervises contract, salaried or hourly personnel, as needed.
  • Serves as back up for PM Data Stewards.
  • Interacts with other departments and divisions in coordinating PM related issues.
  • Maintains an open line of communication with the PM Site Data Steward.
  • Performs any other duties that may arise within Maintenance Business Support. 
Qualifications

Education:
  •  BS/BA Degree.

Required:

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ related PM experience.
  • Knowledge of process, lab, and utility-related equipment (including instrumentation, HVAC, and other utilities); technical writing abilities (knowledge of PM documentation desirable).
  • Ability to work independently as well as in group environments with Union and non-Union personnel.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software package (Word, Excel, and Access), CMMS experience desirable;
  • Knowledge of OSHA, cGMP, EPA, and other regulations; ability to adapt to rapidly changing environment.
