A Day in the Life

As a Technical Consultant, Structural Heart & Aortic, you will play a meaningful role in advancing this Mission by serving as a technical and clinical expert supporting innovative structural heart & aortic therapies. In close partnership with sales teams and healthcare professionals, you will help ensure safe, effective, and confident use of Medtronic technologies that improve patient outcomes.
In this Specialist Career Stream role, you will operate as an established individual contributor, working independently on moderately complex assignments while collaborating across functions. Your work will directly support clinicians, strengthen customer relationships, and enable the successful adoption of life‑changing therapies.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Promotes and sells Medtronic’s Structural Heart & Aortic products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from company’s products and/or services.
Promotes and establish education of the company’s products and/or services
Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations and implantation of company products.
Conducts market research including customers and competitors’ activities
Implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or, for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)).
Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience OR an advanced degree
Demonstrated practical knowledge and competence within a technical, clinical, or medical device related field.
Ability to work independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects or assignments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical information into meaningful insights for diverse audiences.
Experience supporting cardiovascular or structural heart or aortic therapies, interventional procedures, or implantable medical devices.
Previous customer facing experience in technical consulting, clinical support, or sales support roles.
Proven ability to deliver effective presentations and on site education in clinical or professional settings.
Experience collaborating across functions to support therapy adoption and continuous improvement.
Willingness to travel.
Good verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as good command of English
