As the Director of Talent Acquisition for the Neuroscience and Corporate Functions Portfolios, you will play a critical role in bringing this vision to life—shaping how we attract, engage, and hire talent at scale for one of our most critical and complex businesses.
This role is not just about delivering against hiring demand—it is about defining how talent is delivered in a modern, tech-enabled, and data-driven environment. Key Responsibilities
Shape TA Strategy & Operating Model
In partnership with the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition, define and drive forward-looking TA strategies aligned to business priorities
Evolve the operating model beyond traditional process ownership to a more data-driven, tech-enabled, and insight-led approach
Drive Strategic Partnership & Influence
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders - shaping workforce strategy, challenging demand, and influencing hiring decisions with data and insight
Bring external market intelligence and talent insights to anticipate future needs
Own Candidate Experience
Own and continuously elevate the end-to-end candidate experience - ensuring it is human, transparent, and reflective of Medtronic’s mission
Use data, feedback, and market insight to drive consistency, quality, and continuous improvement
Lead Employer Brand & Recruitment Marketing
Own the Neuroscience recruitment marketing strategy - translating our employer value proposition into targeted, high-impact attraction campaigns

Leverage Data & Insights
Establish and operationalize metrics that go beyond reporting—using data to influence strategy, improve outcomes, and tell compelling stories

Challenge low-value activity - simplifying, automating, or eliminating where appropriate
Optimize Operations & Investment
Drive operational excellence across TA delivery - improving efficiency, consistency, and quality
Manage investment and agency spend with discipline, aligned to business priorities and AOP expectations

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$171,200.00 - $256,800.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance,Health Savings Account,Healthcare Flexible Spending Account,Life insurance, Long-term disability leave,Dependent daycare spending account,Tuition assistance/reimbursement, andSimple Steps (global well-being program).
