A Day in the Life
Exciting opportunity to join the EMEA Tax team in our Center of Excellence in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing international tax matters across EMEA region. This role requires a couple of years of relevant professional experience with strong stakeholder management abilities, agility and result oriented skills.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Responsible for managing tax compliance process across EMEA region and to provide tax advisory support to internal stakeholders as well as other internal reporting matters such as tax provisions
- Keep abreast of the variances in tax legislations and assess impact on business and support in tax litigation procedures
- Assist in the definition of structures and processes, M&A activities and other tax planning
- Support in the definition of transfer pricing policies and other transfer pricing initiatives across EMEA
- Works directly with external auditors and understands tax compliance.
- Coordinate with external advisors
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics or Law and between 2 and 5 years of relevant experience acquired in top advisory firms or in-house multinationals. International tax master’s degree as a plus
- Strong knowledge of tax legislation within the EMEA region, or EU as a minimum (including but not limited to principles of corporate taxation, Double Tax Treaty clauses, BEPS)
- Experience in managing tax compliance and advisory for multinational organisations (including but not limited to: CIT return preparation and review, WHT forms, participation exemption, etc.)
- Some transfer pricing experience would be valued (involvement in value chain or IP project related preferred over transfer pricing documentation experience)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as embracement of tax digitalization culture
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, agility, strategic thinking and project Management
