Imagine being part of a team introducing a therapy that could transform millions of lives. Renal Denervation (RDN) is a breakthrough procedure designed to help patients lower blood pressure—a condition affecting nearly half of adults worldwide. Medtronic is leading this revolution, and we’re looking for a Consultant – Patient Marketing to help bring this innovation to patients across the U.S.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:
This individual will lead high-visibility direct-to-patient initiatives to build awareness and drive demand for RDN. This role requires expertise in patient marketing, strong strategic thinking, and the ability to influence across a complex, matrixed organization.
Responsibilities include:
Lead Impactful Campaigns: Drive large-scale, direct-to-patient initiatives that build awareness and demand for RDN.
Maximize External Partners: Lead strong agency partnership to support flawless execution, ongoing optimization, and continued innovation
Partner Cross-functionally: Collaborate with corporate marketing, PR, HCP marketing, legal, compliance, and regulatory teams to deliver innovative, integrated, patient-centric programs. Champion the patient voice across initiatives within the business.
Optimize Performance: Use analytics and patient insights to refine programs, track results, and maximize performance.
Shape Strategy: Leverage patient research to improve patient experience across channels and inform campaigns. Maintain an eye to market trends, barriers to growth, competitive dynamics, customer needs and targeting, benefits/weaknesses, and positioning.
Collaborate with a Winning Team: partner across the global RDN patient team to execute and integrate programs as part of a broader direct-to-consumer strategy
Engage Stakeholders: Build trusted relationships with executive leadership, field teams, patients and physicians to ensure alignment and adoption, as part of a high-visibility, high accountability role.
Influence Field Teams: Develop communication strategies to engage and motivate field teams to execute marketing initiatives
Ability to travel as needed, up to 10% of the time.

Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree
10+ years (8+ with advanced degree) in marketing, market development, or marketing strategy
Proven expertise in direct-to-patient marketing and integrated digital campaigns in a regulated healthcare or medtech environment
Strong leadership, project management, and agency partnership experience
Excellent presentation, collaboration, and communication skills
Ability to influence across a matrixed organization and build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including patients, physicians, and sales organizations
Strategic thinker with exceptional communication and analytical skills
Preferred:
SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires mastery level knowledge of specialty area and working knowledge of several other areas, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have deep knowledge of project management. Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$161,600.00 - $242,400.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
