A Day in the Life
The Program Manager, Enterprise Enablement and AI Upskilling Programs is a senior leader within the Global Learning and Leadership Development Center of Excellence (CoE). This role stewards the Enterprise Enablement and AI Upskilling/Reskilling portfolio—setting strategic direction, guiding priorities, and ensuring measurable business impact. Partnering with business leaders, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion function, Talent Management, and the AI CoE, the Program Manager ensures programs are fully integrated into the talent lifecycle and aligned to enterprise strategy. In addition, this leader drives governance, budget stewardship, and innovation to scale Individual Contributor development globally.

- Own and manage the Enterprise Enablement and AI Upskilling/Reskilling portfolio, including a strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and talent priorities.
- Operate within a governance framework to strategically consult, intake requests, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources.
- Manage governance boards and portfolio reviews, ensuring accountability, transparency, and compliance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Individual Contributors, HRBPs, and business leaders on Enterprise Enablement and AI Upskilling.
- Define and oversee evaluation frameworks to measure adoption, promotion, retention, readiness, and business impact.
- Track and report on program outcomes, leveraging data to demonstrate measurable business value and continuous improvement.
- Own program budgets, forecast needs, and align spend with strategic and enterprise goals.
- Balance global resources and capacity across portfolios to ensure scalable delivery.
- Integrate new technologies, modalities, and approaches to enhance leadership development programs.
- Stay ahead of global trends in Individual Contributor education and talent development, applying insights to programs.
- Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion across all initiatives, ensuring programs are representative and globally relevant.
- Partner with external vendors, universities, and thought leaders to bring cutting-edge practices into the portfolio.
Qualifications
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of progressive experience in leadership development, Individual Contributor development, or related field.
- Proven expertise in designing and delivering leadership or development programs for individual contributors.
Nice to Have:
- Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Education, Business, or related field preferred.
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing and advising senior leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing teams of program managers.
- Experience working with external partners, vendors, or business schools to deliver Individual Contributor learning solutions.
- Strong understanding of measurement and evaluation frameworks for leadership development programs.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to interact credibly with senior leaders and executives.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on program management and delivery.
- Global perspective and experience designing programs that resonate across cultures and geographies.

- Strategic Consultation & Influence: Experience partnering with clients/partners to develop strategic solutions to team, talent, and culture problems to solve. Experience coaching and influencing without direct authority to guide leaders or partners to a solution.
- HR Acumen: Understanding of the interconnectedness of the HR ecosystem and strategies and an understanding of how ID&E, talent, learning, and development initiatives can advance HR and business strategies.
- Communication: Ability to build internal and external partnerships. Ability to drive awareness or change with a diverse audience, through various communication vehicles.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$114,400.00 - $171,600.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
