A Day in the Life
Entry level role with responsibility for performing a variety of routine and non-routine tasks in a regulated laboratory environment in order to support, as well as help develop, pharmaceutical platforms.The chemist I will work in conformance with company policies and current Good Lab Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatoryrequirementsand standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements. Individuals will perform procedures for process/analysis andassisttheir manager and peers with routine and non-routine Quality Control and Research procedures.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree and 0 years relevant experience.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry,biologyor related technical discipline
- General wet chemistry laboratory techniques and/or experience with liquid chromatography (UPLC/HPLC), gas chromatography (GC), dissolution (Apparatus 2 and 7), Karl Fischer, FT-IR, and UV-Vis.
- Experience with chromatography software (Empower). Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- The ability to work in a laboratory with solvents and pharmaceutical substances.
- Solid technical ability, experience with equipment set up, and troubleshooting skills.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$64,800.00 - $97,200.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
