A Day in the Life
As a Principal PD Project Management Specialist, you will be a recognized expert and individual contributor responsible for independently leading complex, cross-functional product development programs. You will work closely with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to ensure predictable, high-quality execution across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new product development and lifecycle management projects
- Own end-to-end project execution from initiation through delivery, including scope, schedule, cost, and quality
- Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, functional leadership, and stakeholders
- Drive process implementation for new and existing products and services
- Track and report project status, schedules, risks, and budgets
- Proactively identify issues and develop resolution strategies
- Lead requirements planning, elicitation, and management
- Ensure strong stakeholder engagement and alignment across all phases of delivery
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent (required)
- 15+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or
- 12+ years of experience with a Master’s degree, or
- 8+ years of experience with a PhD
- Proven experience leading large, cross-functional development programs in a regulated environment
