A Day in the Life

As a Territory Manager for our Hernia therapy, you will play a vital role in promoting and selling Medtronic’s portfolio of hernia repair products across Mid/North Sweden. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to improving patient outcomes and supporting healthcare professionals in the field of hernia surgery.
You will be responsible for building strong, ethical business relationships with surgeons, operating room staff, and procurement officials to ensure the adoption and optimal use of Medtronic hernia products. Your focus will be on driving market share growth, delivering high-quality service, and supporting the education and training of healthcare professionals in hernia repair techniques.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Achieve agreed sales targets, with a focus on hernia product growth
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders in hernia surgery, including surgeons, nurses, and procurement officials
- Identify and resolve client concerns related to hernia products and procedures
- Provide clinical support and guidance to physicians on the correct use of Medtronic hernia devices
- Organize and facilitate educational events and training sessions on hernia repair techniques and products
- Pursue new business opportunities, assess customer needs, and offer tailored solutions to improve patient outcomes in hernia care
- Collaborate with your team to develop synergies and share best practices in hernia management
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in Swedish and English.
- Proven sales background, ideally in medical devices/surgical fields with a focus on hernia or general surgery.
- Skilled at identifying and prioritising business opportunities in hernia care.
- Experience in tender processes
- Relationship-driven team player who can also work independently with high motivation.
- Good understanding of the healthcare sector and surgical specialties, with interest in new technologies; experience in large organisations is a plus.
Additionally we are looking for curiosity, engagement, team spirit, and a can-do attitude as well as a desire to make a difference in patient care and surgical outcomes. Willingness to travel domestic and international is important.
