A Day in the Life
This role will support AI Engineers in Core Quality Services and Business Process Stakeholders in all steps to create and deliver new solutions, measuring value, and drive strategic vision.
This role requires on-site work at a Medtronic facility four days per week.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for planning, initiating, monitoring, tracking and/or prioritizing engineering team's product development programs or projects and facilitating successful, on-time and within budget execution.
- Sets clear direction and management that aligns with defined practices and policies.
- Works closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage the design and construction of engineering projects to ensure delivery of a product or computer-based system through the design process, and into a finished state for external customers. This includes gathering requirements, communicating expectations, performing training, driving and measuring adoption, and troubleshooting and delivering expected measurable outcomes
- Directs day to day activities for multiple work-stream teams through managing project plans, resourcing, status reporting, resolving issues, identifying project risks and accountability for deliverables across multiple functional organizations.
- Establishes meaningful metrics.
- Responsible for project performance, risk management, administration, financial management, budgeting, capital planning, forecasting and issue resolution.
- PBI support to maintain dashboard and maintenance on ML models
- Leading and performing quality assurance documentation, testing, routine, approving
- Driving and supporting audit readiness of quality assurance processes related to ML and AI, along with representing processes in front room
- Perform low-code or prompt development for business processes
- Create financial business cases and manage and track program costs and savings
- IT liaison to ensure access, tickets, are progressing as needed
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, OR an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
Nice to Have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience transforming business processes, namely in complaint handling, change control, and CAPA.
- Experience creating no-code AI models and implementing them broadly to other users with high adoption.
- Previous experience working in Medtronic or other highly regulated industries.
- Proven program management skills, including milestone tracking, process improvement, and AI/ML performance monitoring.
- Background in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies, with the ability to align technical solutions to business needs.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$140,800.00 - $211,200.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
