A Day in the Life

2nd shift - 2:00 pm -10:30 pm
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performs repairs and maintenance in utilities, facilities, or on machines and equipment.
- Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: mechanical, electrical and refrigeration.
- Manage HVAC equipment: Chillers, Air Handling units, pumps, within others through Building Automation system (BAS)
- Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
- Uses hand and power tools.
- Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.
- Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
- Monitors program/project/system status, budgets and timetables.
Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, - Gathers and compiles information for reports.
Provides technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking and coding. - Document tasks, repairs and maintenance activities through CMMS and service platforms (SAP and Service Now)
- Ability to manage many clients at a time, utilities equipment, electrical main distribution panels, emergency generators etc.
- Utilize Building automation (BAS) to remotely control Air handling units
Promote employee awareness/training on matters of environmental, health, and safety.
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Requires high school diploma or equivalent (United States), vocational or technical education or certification (all other countries).
Electrician Licence
Nice to Have
- Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or electronic industry
- Refrigeration technician license
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
