A Day in the Life
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Planning and Production Control
• Proficient in Power BI, SAP, and Blue Yonder
• APICS certification (preferred)
• Proven ability to drive cost reduction initiatives
• Experience in Program Management and Strategic Process Design
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities
• Solid understanding of manufacturing environments and experience with lean manufacturing principles
• Excellent analytical, planning, administrative, and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond with a high sense of urgency
• Strong teamwork and client negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and directs material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of raw and approved finished goods materials timed to meet production requirements.
- Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, inventory levels, and potential production or material supply disruptions to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided on-time and at an optimal cost.
- Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
- Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, demand planning, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.
SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have broad knowledge of project management.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
