The Director of U.S. Commercial Operations, Peripheral Vascular Health leads the development and execution of commercial operations strategies in a fast-growing med device segment. The role works closely with Sales and Marketing Leadership and serves as the advisor to the VP of Sales, US to develop US-based strategic growth plans with adequate and realistic market models that inform key strategic business initiatives such as organizational structure sizing, territory alignment, product launch support, and commercial infrastructure. This role will provide a key link between various functional areas from Supply Chain through to Customer Experience and from the Operating Unit (OU) to Global Regions functions. The PVH Commercial Operations leader will work with leaders and stakeholders and relevant teams to deliver superior value to the customer while achieving revenue, inventory, and direct distribution-related expense goals.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Serve as a key member of the Sales Staff, driving strategic development and ensuring strong execution.
- Deliver actionable market insights to the field to strengthen market share position. Partner with sales and marketing leadership on customer segmentation, account targeting, performance measurements, and modeling best-selling practices for national standardization.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the Field Organizational Structure, including salesforce capacity and role mix. Provide recommendations to enhance sales efficiency while maintaining or reducing direct distribution costs.
- Contribute to integrated business planning by identifying key drivers in the US market and communicating necessary actions for Commercial leaders or field teams to address.
- Accountable for the design, leadership and implementation of inventory and SOGL management programs to optimize PVH inventory investments and reduce P&L OPC-related costs.
- Leverage the analyst team to develop, deliver and maintain reporting and insights for the field. Create inventory of resources that measure customer performance and salesforce-related KPI’s to assess program effectiveness and quickly identify outliers.
- Serve as the liaison to the product marketing team to develop launch and market development strategies that maximize growth opportunities while minimizing go-to-market costs.
- Collaborate with IT to plan and execute large-scale technology initiatives that drive commercial alignment between sales and marketing, supporting sales goals, activities, and processes (e.g., business intelligence platform standardization across marketing and sales, Salesforce.com, etc.).
- Advise executive sales leaders on key areas, including annual operating plan, forecasting, commercial operating plan, plan of action, quarterly business reviews, P&L and sales enablement trends.
- Support the sales function by preparing presentations, organizing project plans, selecting effective communication channels, and coordinating sales meetings.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minium of 10 years Sales, Commercial and/or Finance experience in a regulated medical industry. (8 years with an advanced degree.)
Nice to Have:
- Master’s degree
- Previous Medtronic experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success leading change in a dynamic environment
- Must be able to multi-task and adapt to the ever-changing requirements of a dynamic company
- Ability to develop strong relationships in a matrix organization
- Advanced excel, PowerPoint and data analytics skills with high level corporate presentation experience
- Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple job areas, and detailed functional and operational expertise
- Financial Skill – working knowledge of P&L
- Understanding of contracting, marketing, supply chain and distribution processes
- Demonstrated ability to recognize and resolve critical complex and systemic problems

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$160,000.00 - $240,000.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
