Renal Denervation (RDN) is an innovative procedure that helps patients lower blood pressure. The technique targets specific nerves near the kidneys that can become overactive and cause high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. High blood pressure is a global epidemic, affecting one-third to one-half of adults.
We are hiring a field-based PrincipleField Market Development Specialistto join our RDN Field Market Development Team who will help shape and lead local market development by supporting the hypertension (HTN) patient journey to ensure the right patients have access to this therapy.
As a Principle Field Market Development Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping and driving local market development and education efforts. You will partner closely with your sales, proceduralists, and non-invasive partners to educate and increase access to care for HTN patients by building awareness, program development, and strategic alignment.

We look for leaders at every level who have a clear vision of where we are going and how to get there, bold inclusive thinkers who create new ideas and bring our best solutions forward to benefit our patients, business partners, and customers.
Identifying key stakeholders to create partnerships with Interventional Cardiologists, HTN specialists (Gen Cards, Nephrology, Primary Care, Nursing, pharmacy, etc), and hospital executives to develop awareness within the service line to champion HTN care
Gaining a deep understanding of hypertension awareness initiatives and customer programs to ensure alignment of materials, programs, solutions, data, and resources that support strategy and activity
Supporting and exemplifying a strong culture for the MDS team, centered around collaboration, customer orientation, ethics, and execution
7+ years of experience in marketing, program or market development work, sales, or sales support role (5 years with Advanced Degree)
Experience working in the CV suite of a hospital, such as Cath Lab, CV program coordinator, or CV program leadership

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$127,200.00 - $190,800.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance,Health Savings Account,Healthcare Flexible Spending Account,Life insurance, Long-term disability leave,Dependent daycare spending account,Tuition assistance/reimbursement, andSimple Steps (global well-being program).
