The Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Research & Development (R&D) aims to deliver radical innovations that drive business growth and transform patient lives. The Project Management Office (PMO) supports four businesses within the Cardiac Rhythm Management Operating Unit, including Cardiac Pacing Therapies (CPT), Cardiovascular Diagnostics and Services (CDS), Defibrillation Solutions (DS), and Patient Care Systems (PCS).
This is a virtual position within the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) operating unit.

A Day in the Life:
In general, the following responsibilities apply for the Senior Product Development Project Management Specialist role. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Contribute to defining the PMO best practices for processes, standards, and operational plans based on business strategy.
- Lead PMO continuous improvement projects to drive better execution of NPD projects and drive projects/sub-projects as necessary.
- Collaborate with team and stakeholders to understand their needs, determine software design requirements, and translate them into robust and user-friendly web applications and tools.
- Develop, deploy, and support systems/tools that support project management in our portfolio of development projects to help drive predictable outcomes using a combination of SharePoint, Power Apps, and other relevant technologies.
- Support other aspects of project management that include human resource planning, project cost planning/monitoring, and product build planning to meet program targets.
- Use Power Apps to automate processes, collect data, and create interactive user interfaces that integrate seamlessly with SharePoint.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using DAX, SQL, Power Query M, and data modeling.
- Foster the growth of junior team members through mentorship, directing and reviewing work, and providing guidance.
- Generates systems software engineering standards and procedures.
- May work across a variety of software lifecycle activities as determined by program/stakeholders needs.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE - MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2 years of relevant experience in web application development, focusing on Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint solutions customization using SharePoint Designer, Power Apps, and custom coding.
Nice to Have
- Experience in developing data visualizations using Power BI, data transformation with Power Query, and DAX coding.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for creating efficient, user-centric solutions and the ability to articulate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork, with a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable approach to working independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Understanding of database concepts, data integration techniques, and proficiency in SQL or other database querying languages for data extraction.
- Microsoft certifications in Power BI and the Microsoft Stack such as PL-300, DP-500, PL-900, or (70-XXX).
- Experience working in an Agile environment such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.
- Experience implementing user interface/user experience (UI/UX) best practices and human-centered design (HCD) principles.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$112,000.00 - $168,000.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
