A Day in the Life
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our digital experience team as a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist leading the advancement of our patient digital experience to meet patient needs and improve marketing outcomes. This role combines the strategic vision and roadmap responsibilities of a Product Manager with the tactical execution and backlog management of a Product Owner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing strategy, digital experience management, agile methodologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality innovative experiences that meet customer needs and deliver business outcomes.
Open to remote within the US for qualified candidates, however strong preference for Operational Headquarters in Minneapolis.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision and Roadmap:
Manage a roadmap for advancing patient experiences and capabilities aligned to stakeholder needs and long-term vision.
Define and communicate the patient experience product goals, objectives, and plans to stakeholders.
Create and manage audience personas and journey maps to ensure products meet customer needs.
Advance a long-term strategy for the transformation of patient experience in partnership with stakeholders and cross functional teams.
Backlog Management:
Prioritize initiatives in the product backlog in partnership with stakeholders.
Define the definition of done and acceptance criteria for product features.
Ensure the product backlog is well-groomed and reflects the strategic priorities.
Release Planning:
Develop and maintain a release vision and roadmap.
Define product and sprint goals in collaboration with the development team.
Ensure successful delivery of product releases that meet customer expectations.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, marketing, and analytics.
Communicate product vision, goals, and progress to stakeholders.
Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve product offerings.
Lead a cross-functional team to develop the patient experience.
Consult on operating unit and regional execution of the patient experience.
Validate effectiveness and optimize patient experience.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor and analyze product performance metrics.
Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular reviews of product performance and make data-driven decisions.
Leadership of Cross-Functional Team:

Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Digital strategy planning and implementation experience.

Cross-functional team leadership experience.
Development road mapping & agile experience.
Digital experience analytics planning & analysis experience.
Proven experience as a Product Manager and/or Product Owner with strong understanding of agile methodologies and product management best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science
Experience in Med Tech or Healthcare Industry.
Certification in Product Management or Agile methodologies (e.g., CSPO, PMP).
Familiarity with product management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Trello).

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$136,000.00 - $204,000.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
