A Day in the Life
Join our CardioVascular Portfolio, where the Coronary & Renal Denervation (CRDN) businesses are making an impact in Interventional Cardiology and beyond. Our customers include both clinical and non-clinical professionals—such as interventional cardiologists, theatre and procurement managers, specialist nurses, and directorate leads—who rely on our solutions to improve patient care.
As a Field Market Development Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping and driving local market development initiatives. Working closely with the Sales Team, your efforts will support the growth and adoption of our Renal Denervation (RDN) portfolio in the assigned territory (Lombardia Ovest, Piemonte and Liguria) by building awareness, creating impactful programs, and ensuring strategic alignment with commercial goals.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develop, refine, and implement strategic market development plans for your region
- Design initiatives that drive awareness and adoption of the therapy among healthcare professionals, patients, and hospitals
- Provide on-site technical support during initial phases at new accounts, particularly in catheterization labs
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to conduct market research and identify key focus areas in the RDN pathway
- Support development of market access strategies aligned with Patient Access and Acceleration (PAA) priorities
- Promote educational and economic value tools through focus groups, congresses, and professional development programs
- Help identify gaps in clinical evidence and collaborate in the creation and dissemination of supporting materials with Clinical, Health Economics, and Marketing teams
- Contribute to patient engagement efforts through partnerships with advocacy groups
- Support the Sales Team in executing aligned commercial activities
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory and occasionally at a national level (up to 70% of the time)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and digital platforms, including CRM systems
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
A clinical background combined with 2–3 years of experience in market development or sales within the medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
