A Day in the Life
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused leader to transform our country-specific marketing teams into a unified DACH Product Management Team for our diabetes portfolio of products and services. As the Marketing Manager Therapy Product Management, you will be instrumental in driving this transformation, ensuring cohesive strategy development and execution across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
In this role, you will lead a team of six Product Specialists, collaborate closely with the EMEA Therapy Innovation team and DACH commercial teams and oversee the development and implementation of product strategies and growth initiatives. This position requires a balance of strategic vision, transformational leadership, and hands-on execution to achieve our annual operating plan.
This role will cover DACH and is a remote role. This means your home/remote location is the primary work location. There may however be requirements to attend a Medtronic location for meetings from time to time.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Lead the transformation from country-specific marketing teams to a centralized DACH Customer Marketing Team, fostering a unified approach while respecting local market nuances
- Coach and mentor a team of six Product Specialists, promoting a culture of cross functional collaboration, innovation, and high performance. Set clear targets that drive business success

- Develop and execute the DACH-wide product strategy for our Diabetes portfolio of products and services, ensuring alignment with EMEA and global objectives
- Lead the annual marketing planning process, including budget allocation, resource planning, and performance tracking to meet the annual operating plan
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies and tactics as necessary to ensure objectives are met.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing initiatives with sales goals and ensure seamless execution. Regular co-travels and attendance of regional sales meetings in all three markets
- Lead cross-functional teams, including sales management, inside sales, customer care, health economics and indirect sales, finance, field sales force, technical consultants, training and education, sales excellence and legal/ compliance to drive execution
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor´s degree in Marketing or similar science
- 7+ years of experience in HCP engagement, marketing, or business transformation within the med tech, pharmaceutical, or diabetes care industry
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time within the DACH region and internationally
- Fluent of written and spoken German and English. Proficiency in French and/or Italian is a plus
- Proven experience in leading organizational change or team transformation in a regional or multi-country setup
- Excellent leadership and team development skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing team
- Strategic mindset with a track record of successful execution of product marketing initiatives in a competitive environment
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
