A Day in the Life
As a Credit and Collection Officer, you will be essential in safeguarding our company’s financial health. Your role involves analysing credit applications, assessing risks, and building strong client relationships to ensure timely collections. With your skills, you’ll turn challenges into opportunities, making a direct impact on our growth and stability. Travel is required at 30%.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Manage Customer Accounts: Monitor and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accurate records of payments, outstanding balances, and credit limits
- Collect Payments: Contact customers to collect overdue payments, negotiate payment plans, and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Assess Creditworthiness: Evaluate and analyse customer credit applications and financial histories to determine credit eligibility and risk
- Maintain Communication: Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service while ensuring timely payment of debts
- Prepare Reports: Generate regular reports on accounts receivable, collection activities, and outstanding balances to assist management in decision-making
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in collections within the healthcare sector, preferably in the government sector
- Good knowledge of MS office (Power Point, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Familiarity with the Etimad portal and other client portals for submitting financial claims
- Background in reconciling customer accounts, correcting invoices, and processing them internally
- Ability to provide regular reports to management on the status of outstanding balances
