We are seeking a Lab Animal Training Intern for our Insourcing Solutions business located in Frederick, MD. 


This internship will provide the opportunity to gain exposure to and hands-on experience with developing biomethodology training.  By working directly with our professional training team, the Intern – Technical Training will work on initiatives such capturing video and photo imagery of various technical procedures, editing video and photo imagery in articulate software or other software tools, creating activity and module containers in Campus for tutorials and assisting in assembly of material into e-learning tutorial modules.


The following are minimum requirements related to the Lab Animal Training Intern position.


  • Student currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related area of study with completion of Sophomore year OR AAS in Biotechnology OR in your second year of a Veterinary Technician program and have completed small animal practical.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Ability to fulfill a minimum of a 10-week internship within June – August time period
  • 32 hours a week or 320 hours total internship period
  • Effective communication and listening skills in a teamwork environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects with a strong attention to detail
