Purpose of Position:

• Develop content for Corning World with potential for use on other platforms



• Research, compose, content for focused Corning World article series

• Edit submissions • Aid in the traffic and production of the news site

• Contribute to other communications channels by writing features, researching stories, proofreading materials, etc. as required

• Participate in editorial discussions and brainstorming sessions with other content developers


Required Education:

• Student entering senior year of undergraduate program or first year of master’s degree program desired


Required Skills:

• Demonstrated above-average skills in writing and reporting

• Willingness and competency to work independently and with minimal supervision

• Ability to work within a team atmosphere

• High skill level with Microsoft Office Suite

• Project management skills with ability to handle many tasks, assess priorities, and meet deadlines
