Intake Group Specialist 

 
  
  

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Intake Group Specialist, are to: 

 

  • Maintain compliance for source documents received in accordance with Food & Drug Administration Regulations;

  • Monitor Right Fax Utility, GPV-US Mailbox and Incoming Mail to ensure all documents are being received by USPV and upload accordingly within Documentum;

  • Management of source documents stored in the company’s file room;

  • Work with the Drug Safety Response Center (DSRC), monitoring and sending of follow-up letters;

  • Ensure all follow-up letters are completed and mailed daily;

  • Maintain compliance for source documents received in accordance with FDA Regulations;

  • Ensure all reconciliations for Right Fax, Incoming Mail and GPVUS Mailbox are completed in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Associate's Degree in Science plus one (1) year of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry (Drug Safety);

  • High School Diploma plus other post-secondary education in a health care related field (e.g. medical technology certificate, medical office assistant) and three (3) years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry (Drug Safety) is preferred. Additional direct experience in Drug Safety may substitute for educational requirements;

  • Experience using Outlook, Excel and Word;

  • Must be a team player; possess excellent telephone/communication skills with a high degree of overall poise, tact and courtesy; must be detail-oriented and be willing to work in a hectic paced environment with time-sensitive materials;

  • Incumbent should have a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and organizational skills;

  • Ability to develop cooperative working relationships with all levels of staff is critical. Quality traits of diplomacy, professionalism, tact, and arbitration are important.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree;
  • Experience with Medical Devices and HCP;
  • Experience using Documentum and Argus.
