BASIC SUMMARY:  

Perform risk analysis studies, maintain databases, oversee certificate process and provide assistance with securing renewal exposure information for Global Insurance Program.  Work with business unit supervisors, third party claim administrator, medical providers and employees in reporting, monitoring, and managing claims.  .

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Report and monitor claims to third party administrator
  • Coordinate employee status with supervisors and HR representatives
  • Work with legal representatives as associated with respective claims
  • Create loss analysis reports
  • Coordinate and participate within claim review meetings
  • Enter and maintain claims in HRIS for OSHA reporting
  • Provide authorization to treat to occupational health facilty
  • Review contracts and coordinate insurance certificate program
  • Develop insurance renewal information with worldwide offices
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in business, or related discipline.
  • Experience:  0 to two years related experience and/or training with emphasis on claims  management and financial analysis
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Certification/Licensure:  If any
  • Other:  Ability to build relationships with local and global office personnel. Good inter-personal organizational project and communication skills with a solid understanding of general business practices.  Microsoft Office background with proficient skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.  Bilingual would be a plus, but is not necessary.
