YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Inside Sales Consultant, are to: 

 

  • The Inside Sales Consultant (ISC) will educate potential customers virtually on the benefits of using Bayer’s CardioPulmonary assets, the drugs’ safety and side effects, and the process to getting product to the patient;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Health Care Professionals and their supporting office staff;
  • The ISC will be responsible for disseminating which promotional to employ assets based on previous customer engagement(s). This will include monitoring customer engagement, and then determine how to further engage with the customer;
  • The ISC will provide feedback and guidance to the Marketing team on the effectiveness of the promotional assets used;
  • The ISC will profile customers to assess their potential value as a prescriber by finding out the number of patients the HCP treats who have certain conditions;
  • Note: The ISC is fully product trained and does not operate off of a script in any way. They speak with all members of an office (Physician, Purchasing Manager, Pharmacy Director, Nurse) and influence the different members of the office to prescribe Bayer products.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree;
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, strong rapport-building skills, and have excellent active listening skills;
  • Competent in using technology to aid in virtual call to customers;
  • Competency interpreting sales metrics;
  • Excellent selling, persuasion, and presentation skills;
  • Demonstrate procedural proficiency and knowledge of clinical data for potentially multiple products.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • 1 year of Pharmaceutical experience;
  • 1 year of Telesales experience;
  • Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical/device industry, and/or general knowledge of FDA’s promotional regulations.
