Description:St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is actively seeking a per diem Pharmacist to join our team!
Two Scheduling Options:
Option A - must work two weekends per month (Sat/Sun)
Option B - must work one weekend per month & a minimum of four weekday shifts per month
+ This pharmacist will be responsible for all medication verification/distribution and clinical activities.
+ The candidate should also have knowledge of automated medication distribution systems, USP797 and the ability to prepare intravenous medication utilizing aseptic technique.
+ The successful candidate should possess good communication skills, including the ability to interact successfully with other colleagues to ensure efficient and safe distribution of medications.
+ Prepares and dispenses medications and other pharmaceutical supplies, using standard professional procedures to fill written or verbal physician orders.
+ Performs all duties of a pharmacist providing professional and ethical service to the patients and employees of the hospital.
+ Adheres to all departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ PA Licensed Registered Pharmacist
+ Bachelor's Degree
