A trusted Community Medical Center in Northeast Colorado is looking for an Inpatient Pharmacy Director to join their dedicated staff.
This community hospital is governmentally funded, and has been serving the local community for over 70 years. The Inpatient Pharmacy Director will join a hospital that offers a wide range of acute-care services including Inpatient Emergency, Radiology, Laboratory, and Pharmacy Services. This health district also offers multiple Primary Care Clinics including Extended Care and Rehabilitation, as well as a variety of Chronic Care and Specialty Clinics.
The Inpatient Pharmacy Director will report to the Executive Director of Ancillary Services and will be supported by a talented team of direct reports comprised of tenured and experienced Pharmacy Supervisors, Clinical Pharmacists, and Pharmacy Technicians. This Pharmacy Director will also get to work alongside an outstanding Senior Management team, as well as other Unit Leaders hospital-wide.
The Inpatient Pharmacy Director will be the head of a Pharmacy Department that provides twenty-four hour comprehensive and integrated clinical pharmacy services. This department is also responsible for the processing, delivery and monitoring of drug therapy for all patients.
In this role, the Hospital Pharmacy Services Director will be responsible for the management of pharmacy operations and the oversight of all clinical and educational activities. The Pharmacy Director will oversee and execute drug purchases, as well as manage all drug information and review of drug interactions to ensure patient safety and care quality. This person will coordinate with Senior Management to facilitate and implement clinical pharmacy programs with other health system affiliates.
This Inpatient Pharmacy Director will be working in beautiful Northeast Colorado, part of the historic Great Plains Region.
