To strengthen our Bimekizumab team we are looking to fill the position of: Global Marketing Execution Lead.


This role could be based in Atlanta/US, Slough/UK, Brussels/Belgium or Monheim/Germany.

As a UCB 'innolytic' person and Global Marketing Execution Lead you like to work in an environment where you can:

  • Assure implementation of the global Bimekizumab Psoriasis launch strategy through Regional collaboration to deliver unique value for patients, clinicians, and payers through market-facing efforts
  • Integrate scientific and medical communications into market-facing activities
  • Work with Communications to develop external public relations plan to shape disease state landscape in advance of Bimekizumab launch and deliver brand messages post-approval
  • Develop a deep understanding of key markets and is the key contact to collect regional input and insights, share mission strategy and deliverables and provide support where needed

As a UCB 'innolytic' person and Global Marketing Execution Lead you will contribute by:

  • Partnering with Regional Stakeholders in Market-Facing Functions (Commercial, Medical, Market Access), other global teams and centres of expertise on launch execution
  • Leading the development of a launch playbook in close collaboration with Solutions Delivery Lead and Launch Strategy Lead to assure execution by function of a coordinated global to regional plan to assure a rapid and successful launch. 
  • Soliciting input from key regional stakeholders on launch activities, identifies milestones, and aligns organization on expectations in collaboration with region leadership.  Keeps team accountable for on-time delivery of activities and Mission informed of launch progress, areas of readiness, and vulnerabilities
  • Supporting Launch Strategy Lead to develop brand architecture
  • Implementing Disease State Strategy and Tactics:  Executes disease state activities, in collaboration with Global Medical Affairs Director, to enable compound to enter the market leveraging points of differentiation (MOA, efficacy profile, safety profile, QOL, dosing, patient impact, etc.)  through collaboration/alignment with regional Medical Affairs, Publications, Commercial, and Market Access personnel
  • Working with KOLs to advance awareness and understanding of products, interests, and priorities; Shapes brand development with insights
  • Developing disease area patient engagement strategy in partnership with External Engagement Practice and Regional teams to develop partnerships with patient organizations to create value for target patient groups in line with disease area strategy


Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Educated to a Bachelors level, in a relevant life sciences or business related discipline
  • In-depth knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry and related business compliance
  • 5-7 years of successful assignments in country level sales, marketing, and other commercial functions
  • Successful assignments in regional marketing (preferred)
  • Brand development work with experience in positioning and patient segmentation (preferred)
  • Product launch experience
  • Demonstration of successful working relationships with external stakeholders / KOLs
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Marketing excellence with knowledge of key approaches, critical steps
  • Excellent communication skills with individuals with different cultural, professional and academic backgrounds, including the ability to simplify complex issues
  • Builds actively on long-term relationships, both internally and externally across different functions
  • Project management, problem-solving ability, customer focus, and commitment to quality
