Participates in compiling and generating internal, external and regulatory reports for the Organization. Ensures financial information is presented timely and accurately to management and regulatory agencies. Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct. Supports the department and organization mission. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. This knowledge requires the use of specialized systems and computer software. Other duties as assigned.


Job Duties

• Prepare month end close progress reports

• Support the month end consolidation process

• Update monthly financial result templates to St Joseph Health System

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports and Board Packages

• Provide support during interim, year end and 401K audits

• Tax and regulatory filing support

• Performs other duties as assigned


Education, Training and Experience


Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance preferred or other related field. Minimum of 2-4 years of accounting or other related field experience. Hospital/healthcare experience desirable but not mandatory.


Familiarity with EPSi (decision support tool) and/or Lawson


Skills or Other Qualifications


Advance Excel and pivot table skills. Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Access. Good written, oral communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, and familiarity with computerized financial systems. The ability to work both independently and as a team.
