Finance /Payroll Analyst Position Description:

  • Responsible for the preparation and auditing of time and attendance data and managing a custom payroll solution for the CPG Vineland plant
  • Process weekly payroll for all Vineland hourly employees
  • Process all required payments for benefits, pension, insurances etc.
  • Reconcile payroll files during and after each pay run to ensure accurate remittance
  • Process and verify any special payments and adjustments
  • Provide detailed analysis of payments upon request
  • Develop and maintain documentation of relevant processes
  • Performs operational services and analysis across multiple related functions
  • Helps guide support levels with knowledge on market conditions, industry trends, product knowledge, and possible solutions
  • Supports assigned area to establish their operational needs and then assists with strategizing to carry out services
  • Performs highly analytical procedures, assisting with budgeting, tracking, headcount, and regional spend analysis
  • Tracks operational metrics, analyzing trends and highlighting key performance indicators
  • Performs complex ad hoc operational activities
  • Identify and take initiative to implement process improvements
  • Work with all levels of Organization to complete work

    Education & Experience:

  • 4 year degree (Accounting/Business) preferred
  • 2-4 years payroll or accounting experience
