Job Description
This position assists in maintaining and repairing the proper working condition of all company property, utility equipment, process equipment and HVAC systems. They must be able to perform onsite facilities repair and preventative maintenance work orders on all physical aspects of all buildings, manufacturing equipment, controls, landscape, and HVAC systems.
* General knowledge in the repair and maintenance of the following equipment:
* Electrical Circuits
* Black Seal License HP (Required)
* HVAC&R
* CFC Certification
* RO/WFI experience
* Industrial Equipment
* Pure Steam Generators
* Autoclaves
* Production Kettle Operation
* Plumbing/Pipe Fitting
* Standby Generators and UPS's
* Operation of Lab Hoods
* Aseptic Gown Qualified (Required) Must become Aseptic Gown qualified within 2 months
* Analyzes and solves technical maintenance problems, using test equipment to troubleshoot.
* Work according to plan maintenance SOP's,WPT's, PMO's and protocols
Qualifications
* Technical School Degree/Certificate, preferred, in electrical/mechanical discipline
* Minimum of five years' experience in the pharmaceutical facility management or Health Care Environment Preferred.
* A Working knowledge of all hand tools, meters, test manifolds
* Ability to weld, solder, thread pipes, paint, construct and demo when needed
* Should have a good working knowledge of electrical wiring and installation, control wiring, PLC knowledge a plus
* Must have a basic knowledge of and be able to manage a building management control system
* Must have the ability to communicate and work with outside contractors
