Day to Day Responsibilities:

  1. Work will include project and process activities.
  2. We are looking for those with a strong level of technical curiosity and who are able to deliver creative solutions to technical challenges.
  3. Applicants should have the ability to work in a team based environment and be able to participate as an individual contributor.
  4. Provide mechanical solutions to equipment, safety, and/or process challenges.
  5. Work under the direction of an engineer to:
    • Become familiar with manufacturing equipment and processes
    • Develop design concepts and drawings in CAD
    • Work with vendors for component fabrication and cost reduction opportunities
    • Assist in assembly of equipment
    • Support equipment debug and troubleshooting operations


Required Education:

  1. Pending Junior or Senior BSME Major with a minimum GPA of 3.0 Required Skills:
  2. Ability to create and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
  3. Knowledge of CAD programs (SolidWorks preferred)
  4. MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks


Desired Skills:

  1. Prior manufacturing or mechanical internship or experiences. 
  2. Familiarity with mechanical components and machining methods. 
  3. Knowledge of GD&T and precision engineering. 
  4. Basic statistical understanding. 
  5. Experience dealing with suppliers and other external stakeholders. 
  6. Innovative and technically curious. Problem solving and decision making.
  7. Results oriented and high commitment level.


Soft Skills:

  1. Effective communication & presentation skills (verbal and written).
  2. Ability to work on diverse project team. Ability to build new business relationships.
