Under the direct supervision of the Delivery Supervisor, the incumbent is primarily responsible for DME and Pharmacy Deliveries to Patient homes and facilities. Proper patient equipment training by a technician. Maintains and is responsible for their assigned delivery vehicle.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • 18+ deliveries in your shift on a typical day
  • Ability to work 50+ hours a week
  • Complete and accurate paperwork / turned in following shift
  • Beginning of shift dock time - 30 minutes
  • Vehicle checklist completed at the beginning of workweek and last day of workweek
  • Adhere to dress code guidelines (proper uniform & steel toe shoes)
  • Weekly assigned vehicle cleaning
  • Ready to work at the beginning of shift
  • Proper patient education on equipment/items
  • Ability to be on call 7 days a week 24 hours - (1 week per month on call rotation)
  • Follow all DOT regulations while operating vehicles

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance. Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year experience in Home Medical Equipment industry
  • Knowledge of Home Medical equipment
  • Demonstrate knowledge of or ability to learn and apply job functions to state and federal laws and regulations applicable to the operating unit
  • Excellent attention to detail, good computer skills, excellent written, verbal and math skills

Occasionally - Kneeling, Crawling, Balancing, Throwing

  • Constantly 6 - 8 + hours: 0-10 lbs, 11-25 lbs, 26-50 lbs
  • Frequently 3 - 6 hours: 51-75 lbs
  • Occasionally Up to 3 Hours: 76-100 lbs, *100 + lbs

Carrying:

  • Constantly 6 - 8 + hours: 0-10 lbs, 11-25 lbs, 26-50 lbs

Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Nevada residents is $16.00 to $25.77.
