Overview

The Director of Pharmacy Business is responsible for the development and implementation of Novant Health's strategy for pharmacy business, 340B, and team member pharmacy benefit management consistent with the health system's mission, vision, goals, and values. Collaborates with organizational leaders and manages interdependencies across divisions to design and provide pharmacy services.

Responsibilities include leadership of: 340B program compliance and operations; accountability for financial reporting and supports the financial health of the organization through revenue integrity and other financial initiatives; support of pharmacy business unit financial planning and growth; and manages human resources including development of team members. Stimulates interest, knowledge and support of pharmacy leaders across the enterprise through presentations, webcasts, and other interactions designed to increase engagement in program initiatives and is able to put together a business plan and financial analysis.

Qualifications
  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Required. BS Pharm or PharmD preferred. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5 years or more experience as Director or associate or assistant director of a large hospital pharmacy required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Pharm State License Required. Good Standing with Board of Pharmacy Required.
