Summary:

The Director of Pharmacy oversees the development, implementation, evaluation and revision of all Pharmacy programs and processes which support patient care services across the health system.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy is required

Licensed Pharmacist in Connecticut or eligibility within 45 days of hire

5-8 years of post-graduate experience in an acute care hospital is required

3-5 years supervisory/management experience is required

Experience with EPIC system

Knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain, clinical therapeutics, and pharmacy distribution systems

Demonstrated experience in managing and developing people and programs

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy Administration, or Public Health
