Directs, establishes, and plans the overall policies and goals for a hospital's pharmacy services. Actively leads, manages and supports pharmacy personnel in developing an environment of comprehensive, contemporary pharmaceutical care services across the organization's continuum of care network. Assures, on a daily basis, the effective integration of human, operational, fiscal and clinical resources throughout all areas of the Department in order that the Department achieves the highest level of safe and effective care for patients while meeting the organization's mission, vision and strategic initiatives. Participates in the development and implementation of contemporary automation and informatics technology which advance the organization's patient safety vision.

Advanced management degree (e.g., M.B.A., M.H.A.) desirable but not required
Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency desirable but not required
Current Pharmacist Licensure in the State of Texas
3 years of Acute Care Pharmacy experience
Experience in a Pharmacy Leadership role is strongly preferred
