The Position: Sales Director As Dastech International embarks on its next phase of growth, it seeks an experienced Sales Director to join its team. You are a creative and strategic individual who is eager to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to the long‐term advancement of the organization. You will report to the President of Dastech International and will be responsible for selecting and training an expanded sales force to establish new relationships with customers for our products. We trust that you will strategize and implement new ways to expand our sales and develop opportunities for growth. You will come with a deep knowledge of sales with active pharmaceutical ingredients raw materials as well as an eagerness to recruit, mentor and lead sales staff in order to develop the organization's mission. Your responsibilities will include: • Influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact • Establish and coordinate a sales team and engage with the sales personnel across US on a continual basis to mentor and improve performance • Develop best practices for the existing business • Interact regularly with leadership to identify new business opportunities • Prioritize daily activities based on the strategic value to the business and customer experience • Incorporate new and fresh strategies to respond to supply concerns. Work closely with colleagues to ensure high customer satisfaction ratings and prompt problem resolution
Basic Qualifications
While no person may embody all of the qualities enumerated below, our ideal candidate will possess many of the following: • 10+ years of proven experience in API sales & marketing • Strong understanding of GMP, Q7, CFR 21, GDUFA, and GMP regulatory requirements • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in a related field preferred • Ability to work out of Long Island office • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated result-orientation, tenacity and follow-through • Proven track record of being effective at self-management and driving results • Familiar with a variety of sales methodologies and negotiating tactics • Demonstrable analytical skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools If this sounds like you, apply by sending your cover letter and resume to [email protected] Dastech International Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, and we value diversity at our organization.
