To assist the Clinical Manager in providing administrative and clinical leadership. To help plan, coordinate, and manage personnel and resources to provide the highest quality patient care with trained, professional, and competent staff in the most cost effective manner. To provide for the ongoing educational and professional development of staff. In conjunction with the manager, will collaborate with physicians and other health care disciplines to assure optimal patient care.



  • Responsible for professional growth and development
  • Performance of the principle duties and responsibilities of the RN position and serves as a role model for professional practice
  • In collaboration with the clinical manager, manages patient care delivery to optimize patient outcomes, customer satisfaction and resource management
  • Promotion and support of an environment that is conductive to staff growth, development and autonomy



  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing 
  • 2 years clinical experience in area specialty.
  • 1 year leadership experience (Manager, Supervisor, Coordinator, Perm. Charge)
  • CPR (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS
  • Proven time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to coordinate staffing and patient load capacity
  • Demonstrates excellent communication/interpersonal 
  • Ability to function efficiently in a stressful and changing environment
  • Resiliency and flexibility to deal with an ever-changing health care environment
  • Exposure to body fluids, hazardous material, waste, chemicals, anesthetic gases, life threatening diseases and radiation
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case by case basis
