Job Summary

Responsible for establishing and maintaining CR protocol and report templates for all Safety Assessment sites. 

•    Manage Streamlined CR protocol and report templates.
•    Support automated reporting and publishing initiatives across all Safety Assessment sites.
•    Participate in other corporate standardization and harmonization committees as required.
•    Integrate activities with those of other major organizational units (e.g. segments, departments, functions).
•    Support training programs for global staff on reporting processes and procedures.
•    Support the operational training programs for global rollout.
•    Act as a training resource as needed.
•    Provide guidance and training in all aspects of report writing/formatting responsibilities.
•    Ensure adherence to pertinent regulatory requirements and to departmental policies, practices and procedures (SOPs, safety procedures and biosafety protocols).
•    Keep abreast of professional information and technology through workshops and conferences.
•    Performs all other duties as assigned.

•    Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in technical writing, biology, or related discipline.
•    Experience:  Six or more years related experience in scientific data presentation, writing, editing, and proofreading.
•    An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
•    Certification/Licensure:  N/A 
•    Other:  Strong working knowledge of Client Information Database (CID). Highly skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.  Must be skilled in using and developing document templates.  Ability to work independently and as a member of an integrated team.  Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.  Ability to interact with all levels of staff.  Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-task, deadline-oriented environment.  Familiar with appropriate regulations, guidelines and guidance for the conduct of preclinical studies in North America and Europe.     

•    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
•    Regularly required to work/type at a computer terminal for up to eight hours a day.  
•    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

•    General office working conditions.
•    The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
