Overview We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client’s team as a Quality Control Lab Technician in Lincolnshire, Illinois. The Quality Control Lab Technician role will test in-process and final product batch samples in accordance to written SOPs and make sure that all results are within the product specifications. Their work will have a direct impact on the organization and the larger clinical industry, making this an amazing career opportunity. Responsibilities Perform all required tests to release reagent products in compliance with cGMP/GLP Document test results and compile/enter data into SAP, Excel, or other applications accurately Inspect and release incoming raw materials for production use Maintain daily/weekly/monthly calibration records of laboratory instruments Approve labels for every batch produced Manage retention samples for each batch of reagents and discard expired retention samples Execute revision of the RMS’s Perform monitoring of purified water and send water samples to the third party for the additional inspection Monitor daily temperature Conduct monthly culture test Experience Minimum of 2 years of related experience required Excellent Word processing, statistical analysis, and spreadsheets Good communication skills at all levels regarding quality issues Ability to manage assigned tasks and projects Strong analytical, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills Ability to meet physical demands of the role: moderate physical activity, routine handling of objects 21 to 50 pounds, continuous/80% of time walking or inspections, and/or periods of moderate discomfort due to noise, dust, lighting, and/or other conditions EDUCATION Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Biological science required To Be a Best-fit Your Strengths Must Include Strong Communicator.
