• Create and update templates for needed communications materials related to mergers and acquisitions

• Promote consistent approach to M&A communications, providing high-level execution guidance to businesses

• Manage annual M&A integration video project

• Assist in development of communications plans and related materials for mergers and acquisitions announcements for signing, closing, and integration

• Help manage plan to ensure on-time deliverables and key milestones

• Lead execution of plan deliverables, in coordination with related business colleagues

• Facilitate materials review sessions to progress project communications

• Co-manage communications status meetings

• Support director of communications – M&A as needed Ongoing Tasks:

• Engage with businesses to promote understanding and ensure progress

• Contribute to M&A communications development

• Participate in team meetings, and present on activities as appropriate

• Research, write, and edit content and video features for email, Corning World, Corning World Broadcast, the Blue Line, the intranet, and other platforms as needed

• Work with vendors as needed to support projects


Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in journalism or communications

• Minimum five years of industry experience

• Basic skills in publishing software

• Capacity to work well under pressure with ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines

• Ability to assess priorities and manage many projects simultaneously.
