Position Details: Our client, a world-leading Pharmaceutical Company in La Jolla, CA is currently looking for an Associate Scientist (Cell Culture, Tissue Culture) / CONTRACT-To-PERM to join their expanding team.
Job Title: Associate Scientist (Cell Culture, Tissue Culture) / CONTRACT-To-PERM Duration: 6 months contract, extendable up to 18 months
Location: La Jolla, CA

For high performing candidate the position may go perm.
Work as a member of the investigative toxicology team to generate high-quality data in support of INVITRO compound screening for lead prioritization and/or mechanistic work for advancing potential candidates towards clinical development.
Will also contribute to the development of new processes and assay methodologies that will improve the productivity and scientific impact of the group.

Cell Biology
Preferred Skills: Molecular Biology (RNA/protein isolation
Western Blot
Automated and screening equipment (liquid handling systems, plate readers and automated data analysis)
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; Good organizational, record keeping and computer literacy skills.
